Terms of use
v0.1 · 2026-09-06 · Working version drawn from Teylio's product and safety constitution; legal review in progress before access opens to families.
1. The service
Teylio is an AI-assisted creation workshop for children aged 8 to 14, under a family account opened and managed by an adult parent or guardian. The AI runs creation missions (story, quiz, brand page, simple game); it always says it is an AI and is never presented as a friend.
The service replaces neither school, nor therapeutic support, nor adult supervision.
2. The account
The parent holds the account and is the only contracting party. A child never has their own login: they enter their workshop with a nickname and a code chosen by the parent.
The parent confirms being an adult, enrols only children in their care, and enters only the requested information (nickname, birth year and month, language, form of address, interests).
3. Subscription, trial, cancellation
Payment is handled by our merchant of record, Paddle, which issues the invoice and collects VAT. The Family and Family+ plans include a number of children and a monthly session quota pooled across the account's children; beyond it, the child may finish the current mission and the workshop resumes the following month. No purchase offer is ever shown to the child.
The subscription can be cancelled at any time from the parent space, effective at the end of the current period. In the current phase, access by invitation or after approval is offered under the conditions communicated to participating families.
4. Prohibited uses
It is prohibited to bypass the workshop's protections, to pass an adult off as a child, to attempt to obtain out-of-scope content, to share a creation link without going through the publication check, or to use the service commercially.
5. Ownership of creations
Creations belong to the family. Teylio never publishes them: only the parent can create, after a scan, a revocable share link. The AI's contributions are stated in each creation's signature.
6. Liability
Teylio applies the technical and human protections described on the Compliance page, without guaranteeing that a language model never errs. The parent remains responsible for supervising the child. Teylio's liability is limited to the amounts paid over the last twelve months.
7. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the law of the State of Israel, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules of the parent's country of residence. Contact: bonjour@teylio.com.
